Description
Spanning an expansive 1700 square meters, Boroujerdi House reigns supreme among Persian traditional dwellings. Comprising both external and internal patios, the house adheres to the quintessential Persian architectural blueprint. The external patio, historically reserved for guests and festive gatherings, now welcomes the curious public. Meanwhile, the internal patio remained a secluded sanctuary where the family’s life unfolded. Within this architectural jewel, you’ll find two entrances, summer and winter chambers, well-appointed kitchens, inviting corridors, and a generously proportioned cellar.
Built-in the distinguished sunken courtyard style across two stories, the main courtyard nestles gracefully beneath ground level, ingeniously combating the scorching summer heat. Nestled within this tranquil oasis, a sprawling pool and adorned fountains evoke an air of serenity. An intricately adorned two-story iwan graces the courtyard, exemplifying masterful craftsmanship.
