Tochal Mountain
Tochal is a mountain peak located in the north of Tehran with a height of 3962 meters. It is a part of the Alborz Mountains and offers a wide range of entertainment options such as cable car rides, skiing, sledding, and bungee jumping. Apart from these thrilling activities, visitors can also enjoy other activities like archery club, sledding, and virtual reality experiences.
Resort Cable Car (Telecabin)
The Tochal cable car is a renowned attraction in Tochal. It consists of three principal lines and seven stations, including a ski line and three cable car lines. With a length of approximately 7,500 meters, it is one of the longest cable car lines globally and can comfortably take you to a height of 3,680 meters above sea level. From there, you can relish the invigorating air of Tehran’s heights to the fullest.
Zip Line
Have you heard of the Tochal zip line? It’s the largest zip line in the country, situated on Boston’s No. 2 footpath. The zip line spans 200 meters in length and reaches a height of 70 meters. Sounds like an exciting adventure!
Ski Resort
The Tochal ski resort is a well-loved skiing spot situated in the capital city and is also the nearest one to Tehran. Its seventh station is perched at an altitude of 3,500 meters above sea level, making it the first ski slope to be blanketed with snow in the country. During rainy years, visitors can enjoy this ski resort for as long as eight months.
Tochal Sledge
The Tochal Sledge is the longest and most thrilling toboggan track in Iran, boasting a length of 1,420 meters. It was designed by a German company in 2014 and has received certification from both the National Organization of Iran and the reputable European inspection and standard company, TUV.
Tochal Hotel
One of the highlights of Tochal is the Tochal Hotel, situated at an elevation of 3500 meters above sea level. Since its inauguration in 2010, the hotel has provided numerous amenities, including a coffee shop, recreational sports facilities such as billiards and ping pong, and a movie screening system.
The ski resort and cable car at the resort are closed on the first three days of the week (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). However, they are open from 8:00 to 15:00 on other days of the week and from 07:00 to 17:00 on Fridays.
