Constructed during the illustrious Qajar era, the Amir Nezam House finds its origins in one of Tabriz’s oldest quarters. Originally belonging to Amir Nezam Garrusi, an Iranian diplomat and officer, this elegant mansion has evolved to house a museum dedicated to the Qajar dynasty since 2006.
Description
The Amir Nezam House occupies a distinguished place in Tabriz, boasting an abundance of rooms, and a spacious central courtyard adorned with a delightful garden and exquisite fountains. This grand edifice consists of two courtyards, and two structures, and encompasses an impressive 1,500 square meters. The house, covering a vast 3000 square meters in total, showcases symmetrical architecture, adorned facades, and captivating stained-glass windows. The beautiful veranda is supported by 16 intricately decorated pillars. The interior of the house is adorned with mesmerizing mirrors and plasterwork.

Within this resplendent residence lies the elegant Qajar Museum in Tabriz. Spanning two floors, it houses an extensive collection of artistry. Numerous rooms, each with a distinct theme, proudly display a treasure trove of jewelry, pottery, mosaics, musical instruments, coins, and various other artifacts.
