The architecture of Milad Tower
The Milad Tower is a massive structure that is made up of various components and weighs approximately 150,000 tons. The tower’s construction required 17,000 square meters of glass. The building is divided into three parts – the lower section, the main body, and the circular portion located on top of the tower. It is composed of 12 floors, with each floor having its distinct section.
The first two floors of Milad Tower are dedicated to facilities and shelters in case of fire or other hazards. Starting from the third floor, visitors can enjoy various entertainment areas, restaurants, and museums. Additional attractions include a public art gallery called SkyDome on the 11th floor, an overlook terrace on the 9th floor, a revolving restaurant, a carpet and art gallery on the 3rd floor, a celebrities’ museum, a handicraft gallery on the 2nd floor, and a concert hall on the ground floor. The Milad Tower Concert Hall, also known as Hafez Hall, is the largest in the complex and is considered the main hall of the tower.
Sky Dome: The SkyDome can be found atop Milad Tower, standing at an impressive height of 305 meters above the ground. This magnificent glass dome reaches a height of 13 meters and features an array of artwork on the octagonal wall of its center. The pieces were carefully curated to showcase the symbols, myths, and narratives of ancient Iran, highlighting the evolution of Iranian culture and civilization over the past nine thousand years, from the Great Empire of Iran to modern times.
