Dadras House

Dadras House is a historic building from the Qajar era, registered as a national heritage site of Iran in 2003. It is located in the center of Ahvaz, in the Abdulhamid Bazaar (also known as Nazemi or Shahid Nazerypour Street). The two-story mansion features five rooms on the ground floor, three on the second floor, and a 4×5 meter cellar. Originally part of Sheikh Khaz’al’s caravanserai, the building later served as a market and storage space.

While Dadras House remains an important example of Qajar architecture, including brickwork, stonework, columns, and wooden doors and windows, it has not been properly maintained, and parts of it are deteriorating. Today, the site is not open for public visits and is in urgent need of restoration.
