Ali Ibn Mahziar Bridge, also known as the Seventh Bridge of Ahvaz, is a striking modern structure located in the southern city of Ahvaz, Iran. Stretching over 500 meters across the Karun River, the bridge features fountains along both sides that create the appearance of cascading artificial waterfalls into the river.
At night, the bridge is illuminated with vibrant, colorful lights, turning it into a breathtaking sight, especially during weekends and national holidays. Due to energy limitations, the waterfall lighting system is typically active only on weekends, public holidays, and during Nowruz celebrations.
Ranked as the third-longest bridge of its kind in the Middle East, Ali Ibn Mahziar Bridge is not just a transportation route, but also a popular tourist attraction and a scenic spot for evening walks and photography.
