Dadras House
One of Ahvaz’s historical houses is the Dadras House, also known as Saraye Dadres. The two-story mansion has five rooms on the ground floor and three on the second floor of the Ahvaz courthouse. In the basement, there is a 5 x 4 square meters cellar. The courthouse was once a caravanserai ordered by Sheikh Khaz’al, an important Qajar ruler. The caravanserai was later turned into Tarabar Square, and the courthouse became a grocer’s market and then a warehouse. Eventually, it was abandoned.
